A new little section has just been added to the site.

Paper bags for fruit and vegetables: I have been collecting them for some time, but until now they did not really have a place of their own on the site. That has now been put right.

There you will find a selection of these paper bags, old and more recent, illustrated or very simple, each bearing witness in its own way to a part of the history of the fruit and vegetable trade.

A collection quite different from the labels and wrappers, but every bit as charming.
